Hi, I'm Kirsty, the owner and co-founder of Richards & Co Jewellery. This is our story, a journey that began with a love for sparkly things and blossomed into something truly special.
It all started in March 2014. I was a single mother to my beautiful daughter, navigating the world and dreaming of creating something of my own. I’ve always been drawn to the beauty and allure of jewellery, and I knew I wanted to share that passion with others.
The Spark Ignites
My passion soon became a reality as I started sourcing materials and teaching myself the art of jewellery making. I was so happy when I became a Swarovski supplier! With determination and a lot of hard work, I began to create and embellish luxury, high-end pieces. It was a dream come true to work with such exquisite materials and to see my creations come to life.
Growth and Gratitude
Growing the business was a journey of constant learning and self-education. I poured my heart and soul into every aspect of Richards & Co Jewellery, from designing the pieces to building relationships with customers. What started as a small venture slowly grew, but I never forgot the values that drove me: quality, beauty, and a personal touch.
My Family
Now, years later, I’m a mother of four incredible children and have the unwavering support of my fiancé. My eldest daughter, who is autistic, has a spirit that soars as high as her passion for horses. My second oldest is a whirlwind of energy and a natural performer, with a love for dance and drama. Then there's my funny and adorable third daughter, a true princess at heart. And lastly, my youngest, a cheeky little boy who faces severe health challenges with incredible strength.
My family is my everything. They are my inspiration, my motivation, and the reason I strive to do better every day. My fiancé’s support has been invaluable, providing a constant source of encouragement and love. It is with his support that I'm able to balance family life and business.
More Than Jewellery
Richards & Co Jewellery is more than just a business to me. It's a reflection of my values and passions. I have a deep love for animals, and I try to incorporate that love into my work whenever possible. Helping others is also incredibly important to me, and I strive to give back to the community through various initiatives. And, of course, there’s the jewellery itself, a constant source of joy and creativity.
